On Sunday 25th August, the Bournemouth and New Forest Masonic Groups held a Service of Thanksgiving at Christchurch Priory with the guests of honour being Brian Bellinger PPGM and his wife. The service took place on the 70th Anniversary of Twynham Lodge No. 5889 which was the only Craft Lodge consecrated during the Second World War. APGM Geoff Tuck and both Group Reps Rodney Dale and Andrew Weldcyz were present with a Priory full of brethren, families and friends. A short talk on the History of Twynham Lodge was given by their WM, John Donoghue and Bro. J. Moran. The service was lead by the Vicar of Christchurch, The Rev’d Christopher Mann, prayers led by W.Bro. Bryant Saunders and the address given by W.Bro. Rev’d David Heatley PDepGChap. After the service Tea was served in the Priory House, a lovely setting to conclude the occasion.
